With documentary evidence of the planting of some of their vineyards dating back to the 12th century (!!!), it's a wonder this estate sort of flies under the radar. This wine is one of their four monopole vineyards in Gevrey-Chambertin, and the 2014 vintage is just singing right now. Plenty of life if you'd rather wait another 5+ years, but there's really no need. Dense, regal, muscular pinot noir.
