Enrico Togni farms 3.5 hectares of land, only two of which are planted to grapes, all on one contiguous hillside in the rugged Camonica valley in northern Lombardy, total production is around 7000 bottles. He took over the family vineyards in 2003 at the age of 23. Enrico farms organically with Biodynamic practices included, and is the only independent grower and winemaker in the region. Enrico also keeps bees, geese, and sheep on the same property and is committed to poly-cultural farming, he has a small collection of co-planted fruit trees as well.
