VINEYARD: From a 0.22 plot of 75 year-old vines in the lieu-dit Les Deschampes, planted to soils of granite, quartz, and manganese at 300 meters elevation.
VINIFICATION: Hand-harvested. Whole cluster,semi-carbonic maceration for 20 days. On fine lees for a few months after malolactic. Aged 8 months in neutral oak barrels. Light filtration before bottling, no fining. 2 g/hl of SO2 added just before bottling.
TASTING NOTES: Quite mineral with spice notes.
