Delanoue Frères estate is made up of two thirds of clay-limestone hillsides, the remaining surface being made up of gravel terraces. Domaine de la Noiraie comprises more than 40 hectares of vines, having expanded from just three in the 1980s. Certified both Terra Vitis and Haute Valeur Environnementale (HVE), the estate takes the utmost care in its growing and harvesting methods, with sustainability being the guiding principle of its operations. Run by the Delanoue family, which is now in its sixth generation of winemaking. Appellations include Bourgueil and Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil; the vineyard is spread over the communes of Saint Nicolas de Bourgueil, La Chapelle sur Loire, Chouzé sur Loire, Bourgueil and Benais of course.
