Thanks for being one of the first Beer Pass members! This month's pass features a whirlwind worldwide tour of beer, and brings it all back home with some hoppy American treasures. Be sure to pick yours up right away so those hops are as fresh as can be!

KLOSTER ANDECHS DOPPELBOCK DUNKEL 16.9 OZ
Kloster Andechs brewery is part of a Benedictine Monastery that was founded in 1455. Though they make a variety of traditional German beers of extremely high quality, the Dopplebock Dunkel is perhaps their best known and most beloved offering. Dark and strong, this is widely considered to be in a tie for the top doppelbock in the world with Ayinger Celebrator (you know, the beer with the goat necklace).

HARVIESTOUN OLD ENGINE OIL BLACK ALE 11.2 OZ
We had this beer on tap at Atwood's Tavern last month and were all like "damn, why did we stop selling this beer?". We think we just forgot to reorder it. Our favorite Scottish beer. Super rich, dark, and roasty with a pleasant bitterness.

BRASSERIE DE LA SENNE SAISON DU MEYBOOM 11.2 OZ
We're huge fans of De La Senne's "Taras Boulba" and "Jambe De Bois", so when "Saison Du Meyboom" became available last month, we snatched up a case. This is a crushable saison that should serve as a welcome contrast to some of heavier offerings in this month's pass.

BOON KRIEK MARIAGE PARFAIT 12.7 OZ
Boon Geuze Mariage Parfait has long been a favorite of ours, as it matches the quality of the gueuzes from some of the more expensive producers in Lambic. A few months ago, the long sought-after Kriek Mariage Parfait hit the market, and we grabbed as much as we could. A delightful sour cherry ale just in time for holiday celebrations, or worthy of cellaring for years!

SIXPOINT GLOBAL WARMER IMPERIAL RED 6PK

Originally brewed back in 1999, this Sixpoint seasonal has become an annual favorite here at Streetcar. Brewed with Columbus, Simcoe, Citra, and Cascade hops, this is billed as an imperial red ale though it's easy to see how one might mistake it for an IPA.  By the time you pick up your pass, both the store and our distributor will likely be out of this one, but drink up anyways!

JACK'S ABBY KIWI RISING DOUBLE IPL 16.9 OZ
This little birdy flew into the shop just a little too late to be included in the November edition of beer pass, but it sure is singing now! Loaded with citrusy New Zealand hops, this is Jack's Abby's most celebrated hoppy lager, brewed just once a year.

SINGLECUT BEERSMITHS MO' SHUGGIE SOULBENDER IPA 16.9 OZ
Rounding out the hoppy portion of the pass is a fresh bottling of Mo Shuggie Soulbender from Singlecut Beersmiths out of Queens. Singlecut started (infrequently) hitting the state back in April and has been turning heads ever since. Even more New Zealand and Australian hops give this one it's unique flavor.
