Welcome to the latest installment of the Beer Pass. If you’ve already purchased a pass, thank you! If you haven’t, you should check out this page to learn how it works. Below you’ll find some information about each of this month’s selected beers.

Jackie O's Gingham / Hockhocking / Wood Ya Honey
Here's a trio of special releases from a standout brewery in Athens Ohio. All are barrel aged (regular oak, red wine barrel, and bourbon barrel respectively). Two are sour (one with cherries, one with peppercorns, chamomile, and grapefruit peel) and one is not sour, dark, and over 13% alcohol. Quite an array of flavors in these three bottles!

Logsdon Farnhouse Ales Far West Vlaming
For eight years, Logsdon Farmhouse Ales has been specializing in, you guessed it, farmhouse ales, and in particular barrel-aged and brettanomyces-fermented ales. Far West Vlaming is a certified organic take on a Flanders red, aged in oak barrels in the traditional Belgian style. Tart, but not overly sour, this is a bomber that goes down pretty easy.

TO 0L Santa's Secret
Considering all the ingredients thrown into this holiday brew (Coffee, Lactose, Cinnamon, Cardamom) this is a surprisingly drinkable double brown ale where all the flavor elements seem to come together without turning into a cloying overly spiced mess. Thanks Santa!

Burlington Beer Company Elaborate Metaphor
It can't all be barrel aged and sour and dark or you'll go nuts, so here's a four pack of a New England Pale Ale from one of the trendiest breweries in New England. Juicy! Hoppy! Dank! Delicious!
