Back by popular demand, Bojonanza is a survey of Beaujolais, that humble corner of France devoted almost entirely to the cultivation of gamay noir. Once considered so vile as to be ousted from the golden slopes of Burgundy, its renaissance began with the reintroduction of natural winemaking based on the guidance of the legendary Jules Chauvet, whose disciples and their disciples continue to bring the region to new heights.

BOJONANZA is a bottle each of six different producers from six different villages, offered at a 20% discount off regular bottle prices. This year marks our first inclusion of O.G. "Gang of Four" member Jean-Paul Thévenet, whose Morgon remains a benchmark for the appellation. Another highlighted Kermit Lynch import is "Les Moriers" from Domaine Chignard, which is particularly lovely and aromatic this vintage. We've also included our first wine from Lantignié, a village that doesn't have "cru" status yet, but surely will in the years to come, as evidenced by the delicate purity of Jean-Marc Burgaud's version.

1 bottle each:

2019 Domaine les Roches Bleues Còte-de-Brouily
2022 Domaine Colette Régnié

2022 Jean-Marc Burgaud Beaujolais Villages "Lantignie"
2021 Domaine Diochon Moulin-a-Vent "Cuvée Vieilles Vignes"
2021 Jean-Paul & Charly Thévenet Morgon "Tradition"

2021 Domaine Chignard Fleurie “Les Moriers”

Please note, if we receive a higher than anticipated demand, we may need to make substitutions of roughly equal value.
