Note from Chertok winemaker Max Rose:
This isn’t a rose but a pretty co-ferment of almost entirely Chardonnel with a little splash of Noiret for color. The grapes come from a little half acre, west facing plot at the Cold Stone Orchard at Umass Amherst. The farming is very conventional and this was the trickiest ferment I’ve ever maneuvered but the final wine is so freaking cheery and delectable it was well worth the effort.
