2024 Luna Duna Naranjo

The Morcos family originally planted their vines in the 1930s and third generation Matias Marcos makes Luna Duna at the family winery. The vines are located in Eastern Mendoza in the subregion of Alto Verde, San Martin. The vines are so attuned to their location and climate here that very minimal maintenance is required -- certainly no pesticides. This 9:1 blend of moscatel and criolla blanca is fermented naturally on the skins to access the stone fruit character of moscatel, and to deepen its typical floral aromatics. Fortunately for all of us, it is presented in a liter-sized bottle, giving that little extra we all need right now. Serve with antipasti, fresh cheeses, salads, and grilled seafood.
