2019 Solar Fortun Petit Verdot

The 2019 vintage played to the high demands of Petit Verdot extremely well. Mild throughout, that allowed a harvest nearly three weeks later than normal this wine is full-bodied, muscular and ready to take on Mohammad Ali in his prime. A wine that manages to bring all of the floral elegance of violets and lilac and savory notes of sage and rosemary with equal vivacity. There is no reason to wait to drink this one but it will be a joy to watch evolve over the next decade.
