Our most Rhone-like syrah to date, with notes of leather, meat, and iron in the nose. Plenty of violets and olive in there, too. Beautiful structure, with slightly gamey tones and plenty of volcanic “vibe”. There’s fruit in there, dark fruits, but they are just along for the ride. Wonderful acidity helps carry the long finish. Drink now, or hold it for years…it’s only going to get better. This will be the last syrah from us for a while, as we were unable to produce this wine in 2021 and 2022. 122 cases made. 12.8% abv - La Clarine Farm
