2014 Lame Delisle Boucard Bourgueil "Cuvee Prestige"

The 2014 vintage of LDB's "Cuvée Prestige" is one of which we sold roughly about 20-25 cases from our Casual Cart when it was first released. A library release was offered by the winery this year, granting us the unique opportunity to check in on some back vintages of what has been one of our favorite and most popular reds of all time. Now over 10 years old, the 2014 is in peak maturity, offering the full spectrum of flavors present in this mineral-dense, classic cabernet franc. In its youth, this is a prototypical "bistro red", full of dark fruit and earth. Five years later, we find more distinct blackberry, black cherry, wet earth, and deciduous forest floor. We brought in five cases, making this library release a near exclusive to the Monthly Pass.
