2022 Scenic Valley Columbia Valley Red

In 1970 Bob Zielinski and his wife, Pam, started their family on a piece of land in the Willamette Valley that would grow into Scenic Valley Farms. Today Scenic Valley grows over a thousand acres of pears, wheat, hazelnuts, hops, grass seed, and wine grapes. Winemaker Gabriel Jagle studied at the Chemeketa viticulture center, where he learned to make clean and precise wines. He trained at Illahe Vineyards and Winery, where he learned to make soulful and expressive wines. At Scenic Valley, Gabriel uses those lessons to create wines of terroir and zeitgeist, while also remembering the most important thing is that they are delicious!
