2023 Ruth Lewandowski "Naomi"

Compared to the other wines, ‘Naomi’ is a much simpler proposition: direct press, whole-cluster Grenache Gris from centenarian, head-trained vines. For all Evan’s winery-as-junglegym mentality, he knows when less is more and for Naomi he does very little. This wine is all about high quality, old-vine fruit and the simplest, gentlest treatment he can manage to produce a wonderfully pure, plainly solar white. While there may be less novelty to rely on here, this wine is exceptional and certainly smacks of the RLW style.- RL Wines
