2023 Ruth Lewandowski Rose

With about a gagillion semi-interchangeable (if tasty) hipster pink wines out there, seeing a rose with this much identity is a treat. This wine has been a knockout since day one but it has only gotten better over the last decade of refinement. Featuring a number of rugged, tannic, deeply colored Portuguese varieties like Tinta Roriz, Touriga Nacional and Souzao with a little splash of animating Sauvignon Blanc, this wine is more of a full body, immersive experience than a light pink wine. It’s got savor and fruit and texture and energy and it’s something we look forward to every year. - RL Wines
