2024 Birgit Eichinger Gruner Veltliner "Strass" Kamptal

Weingut Birgit Eichinger was founded in 1992 and now comprises fifteen hectares of prime Kamptal vineyards. The style here is one of full-bodied purity, best played out in Eichinger’s exceptionally salty, richly textured Gruner Veltliners that hail from a range of volcanic loess and loam slopes. Winemaking is precise and modern, seeking purity and freshness. Gloria Eichinger represents the second generation of winemaking here. The grapes for Strass are selected from several vineyards planted on loess soil.
