The 2024er Niedermenniger Herrenberg Weissburgunder Trocken comes from 30-year-old vines in the south-facing part of the vineyard situated just below the Estate’s cellar. It shows a rather restrained and light nose of white flowers, almonds, and smoke. It starts off with a light creamy touch but quickly shows great acidity presence, which gives to the long finish a tight and taut style. The finish is tart and packed with zest. This needs a few years to fully integrate all its elements and shine. This racy Weissburgunder is superb. 2028-2032
