2024 Librares Rioja Blanco

Sisters Clara and Patricia Espinosa own Señoríos de Librares. Although their father guides them through the nuts and bolts of winemaking, they seem to relish in their non-winemaking perspectives. Clara works in the fashion industry, and Patricia has a background in finance and sommelier training. Neither has any interest in simply adding to the ocean of "traditional" Rioja being pumped out of the hundreds of wineries in their region. Case in point, this white bottling of pure viura spends its first day on the skins and enjoys its entire elevage in concrete prior to bottling with very little sulfur. No oak, no smoke and mirrors, just honest, clean fruit. Bring her to a party!
