2024 Ruth Lewandowski "Anos"

The so-called 2024 ‘vintage’ of Evan’s ‘Anos’ cuvee is more like a second release with a portion of the first vintage included in the tank. The premise of ‘Anos’ is simple, three different varieties that end in the syllable ‘ano’: Trebbiano, Montepulciano, Friulano. The first release was fun, flirty and, in Evan’s estimation, not quite complete enough. Thus we have the new release of what is now a multi-vintage wine of pure pleasure. Evan calls this ‘outrageously chuggable and tropical’ but likes that the new release has a little more framework. - R.L. Wines
