Bulli "Cor" Vino Rosso

Leonardo Bulli is the 5th generation of winemakers at his family's farm, which is squeezed between the Po River and the Appennines in the wild west of Emilia-Romagna. They proudly state that all of their wines are made without added sulfur, with their ability to do so attributed to the region's unique limestone soils which are similiar to those found in Provence (les calanques). While famous (at least locally) for their fizzy wines, this still blend is no less compelling for its zippy, savory, herbaceous crunch. It wants all the cheeses and cured meats you can provide.
