MX Rums Caña Dura

Prized for its resilience, the pale yellow-green Caña Dura, also referred to as Caña Fierro, is the most common cane variety found in Cosautlán de Carvajal, Veracruz, where this batch was distilled by fourth-generation aguardientero Marcos López on a five-plate continuous still made of stainless steel and copper. Not only an adroit aguardiente distiller, Marcos also cultivates coffee, limes & citrus honey.

Tasting notes: Salty and savory aromas: tapenade, cucumber, watermelon, capers & lime. Nectarine skin, golden apples, honey, oat bran and damp rocks on the palate
