60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon Gris
Variety: 60% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon, 10% Sauvignon Gris
Appellation: Côtes du Marmandais
Farming: Biodynamic/Organic
Vinification: Grapes are harvested and vinified separately. Slow pressing, cold settling. Fermentation by indigenous yeast, and aged in cask and concrete eggs for 17 months.
Notes: An atypical white for the Marmadais region - and reminiscent of the wines of Alsace. A floral nose, full and fresh in the mouth - redolent of apples, pears and dried fruits. Goes well with shellfish, spicy dishes, saffron, white meats and exotic cuisine. Drink young - or hold for a bit to let other flavors to develop!
