Fine sand and clay soils, 60% Grenache, planted in 1947 and 40% Syrah, planted in 1960. Hand picked, 90% destemming,  natural yeasts, cold soak followed by warm fermentation. Fermented in stainless steel, then aged in concrete vats. This cuvée is only made in years of notably high quality.
