100% Malbec sourced from Naggier Vineyard in Grass Valley.

Inspired by the innovations of the new garde Burgundy producers, they used a new technique of carefully piling in whole clusters into a tall, narrow 2000L steel tank. The grapes are crushed initially through gravity and a bucket of lees from their white wine "Pearl Thief" is added to help protect the wine and accelerate the start of fermentation. What fruit isn't crushed through sheer gravity is crushed by way of morning and night punchdowns. Pressed into Bordeaux barrels and bottled in February.
